A historical city with so much culture...road side phuchka...Howrah bridge.... nightlife...clubs...chai shops open till wee hours of the morning...lakes...plays...trams...this is home. No matter where I stay or travel I'd always like to return to Calcutta eventually.

Festivals are celebrated with great hullabaloo, especially Durga Puja where people are dressed in their finest wear and the pandals are so grand with statues of the goddess with intricate details which will cause an amazement that will last you a lifetime.
